Have been doing business with German Imports for several years. But not any more, cause I found out that the owner let two of his mechanics go, cause he was closing the shop. He said he did not want to work on cars anymore and he was hanging it up. Which in turn, was a lie, just to get rid of the two guys. One was the best mechanic ever, I could not find anyone to fix my car, and he could fix anything I had a problem with on my car. I took it to the dealership multiple times and they could not fix it, however he could but now he has been let go. I'm not sure what the owner problem is or was, but why would you get rid of the best mechanic in Concord. Also, the owner would not even pay them for the days they worked. One week he was at work trying to figure out what ins to get, next week. Go find a job. This, owner is crazy to let these guys go, and not even want to pay them for vac, holidays or nothing. Oh well never going back to German Imports, wish I could find my favorite mechanic.

Very friendly and honest. Serpentine belt failure shredded lower radiator hose. No part available locally so car basically disabled. Kim drove me over to car rental facility. Remained in parking lot until sure I was in a vehicle. Part came in late on a Friday and car repaired. Shop closed Saturday but Kim gave me personal cell number and told me to come pick up Saturday morning so I could turn rental and save a few $$s. I asked questions about servicing another VW I have and they were upfront and honest about needed service and recommended intervals.

German Imports has always taken great care of my 2003 vw Beetle. They always call with a price estimate before they do the work . Great service Always!

I began getting my 2005 VW fixed on march 25th, it is now June 23rd... The engine and ABS lights were on. I was told not to worry about ABS sensor and the engine light "sensor" was fixed for about 2 miles and then it came back on- I have now taken the car back five (5) times and spent over $500--there is a warranty for work done for 6mos or 6000 miles. However, i was told more senors possibly needed to be replaced and more $ spent and that i did not drive the car enough(??? perhaps a gas additive would help???) Long story short, the owner is very nice(1/2 star) but a horrible mechanic. I finally took my car to a VW dealer where I spent less money AND was guaranteed if the light came back on to return and problem would be corrected -no charge. I WILL NOT ever recommend German Imports to anyone with a new VW--i DO NOT think they have the equipment needed to do a proper diagnostic check. The sensors are coded so a mechanic can fix the problem correctly-no guessing game!
