Customer service/billing office

We have had nothing but issues since WM purchased our previous trash vendor. I've been transferred back and forth between offices to set up a new service location with no one knowing which phone number I should call. We've also made 4 LONG HOLD phone calls to correct a billing issue in WM's favor and it STILL hasn't been fixed. I'm reassured each time that the adjustment will be made to our account and that the error will be corrected so that the future amount billed will be correct. After 4 phone calls it still hasn't been fixed. Any volunteers to make a 5th phone call them for us?

Service sucks

I had my trash container by the curb by 5 pm on SUNDAY, and I have 5 neighbors to verify this, but my trash was NOT picked up, so by Monday 3 pm I called and I was told that the "driver" had put in the report that my container was not out!!!! Big lie to cover his Butt. I was told that trash will be picked up . It is after 10 pm and still no pick up

They don't have trash cans. it has been over two months and my trash is not getting picked most of the time. Customer Service is not helpful.

I live in St Francis St Francis contracts Waste Management out. They are absolutely the worse. I have not had my recyclables picked up in weeks. I have complained to the customer service without any satisfaction. I am still sitting here waiting for recyclables to be picked up. They are in my driveway so I must drive around them to get to my garage. There is no note on them as to why this is going on. Please people if you contract anybody out do yourself a favor and do not have anything to do with rogue company. The customer service is as bad as the pick up. You will get nothing for your hard earned money. I have contacted St. Francis and I will continue to try to get satisfaction. They are very lazy in the care of they're customer service and frankly have no care in the world about your garbage pick up. It is early Sat. morning and my garbage remains in the driveway and there is no way of getting a hold of them again until Monday. Frankly I am surprised they are still in business.

This is the third occasion that my garbage has not picked up! My trash was put curbside late last evening. My neighbors was picked up. What other recourse do any of us have in getting the service we pay for. I have noticed a difference in the level of service since you are paid up front through my property taxes!

I just left Waste Management because they CONSTANTLY increase the bills. Totally not a fan and just found out they bought the new company I am with. As soon as my contract is over I will be looking for an alternative company again. NOT A FAN AT ALL!!

Very unhappy with the service you say you provide! I live in a new subdivision. Sage Meadows in South Reno Damonte Ranch area. Had my trash can dropped off in Dec. We - My neighbors & I have not had our trash pick up as yet. I've called a number of times with false promises that someone will pick it up. My house is 1805 Cholula Dr. Reno, Nev. 89521 Our street is unsightly. The trash is growing. Luckily its not the heat of the summer. We need a pick up Please! Darlene Grant

They are okay with most things, but contacting them by phone is unnecessarily complicated, with the call director forcing 10 different selections and a local phone not available, even on an invoice. Reliable for the most part. Expensive for recycling -- why is that not part of everyone's service?

Everyone complains about their pickups being missed. Well what about the drivers. The company has no consideration for them. They cut drivers or when a driver is on vacation or sick do you think they have extra drivers to help cover no. Or I should say some of the drivers have to pick up the slack. Never any time for family. Oh and don't forget the slackers that work slower to put their time in and get to leave on time and never help other drivers. I think management needs to take a look at something besides there idle time when truck is off. Maybe your new cameras in trucks are not good for anything. Hire some people that want to work not just put their time in and get rid of the dead weight. It might actually help the worker and the customers.

I am EXTREMELY TIRED of them increasing the bill EVERY TIME we get one!!!!! Now our bill is $101 for 3 months service for 1 pick up a week and that is if there is no snow on the ground. Then they always use the excuse that cannot get back to us to get it. Which is a lie because we can get out with our cars just fine.

Had a refrigerator go bad on me. I called Waste Management to find a recycling drop-off point as I did not want to leave it on the curb for them. Spoke to a young lady who guided me to a WM facility in Saugus, CA. She advised me that they'll take the refrigerator off my truck and recycle it for free, and that I can drop it off M-F, 8am-5pm. I loaded it onto my truck and took it to the facility. I arrived at 3pm on a Monday. I went inside and a guy told me to back my truck up to the gate and they'd forklift it off. As I backed up my truck, I was approached by a non-english speaking employee who was waving me off. When I asked what's the problem, he said, "No takee, no takee, closed now". Pointing out that it was only 3pm didn't help. Angry, I went back inside to the original guy and he looked and said that the front office girl had gone home already, and if it was up to him he'd take the fridge but that the non-english speaker was in charge of that stuff. We went back and forth a few times, and then I left as they had no intention of taking my fridge. I drove down the street and made a u-turn. As I passed the drop off area, I noticed a customer had pulled in with furniture and a TV and the same employees were gladly taking his stuff and throwing it into the proper bins. I guess my fridge was way to much work for them this late in the day. I stopped in front of the facility and called the main office to complain. The guy I spoke to couldn't even find the Saugus facility on his system so he couldn't help me. I assured him the place was real and offered to take a picture of the Waste Management sign with the address and all the trucks but that didn't help. When I got home with my busted fridge, I called the main office again to complain. I was told that I indeed had gone to the correct facility, I was well within the drop-off time frame, and that someone should have helped me and taken my fridge. She advised me to try again in the morning and apologized for the inconvenience. I will be trying again in the morning. I will collect the names of those responsible and needless to say, I will be making a formal complaint. Here I am trying to do the right thing and correctly dispose of a potentially dangerous item, but nobody that works there seemed to give a crap about that. Just a paycheck, right?

AWFUL customer service!!! They have missed several pickups at our business location and then charged us extra for the "overweight" dumpster!! WILL NOT take these charges off and my complaints regarding the missed pickups have mysteriously disappeared. Can't WAIT to get their service agreement period OVER!! Do yourself a favor and use a different company to pick up your trash!!

This trash company is and pain in the rear was never late ever for years sent and payment in they say never received it sent through and email to me. I called paid by debit card said they would not charge late fee looked at my account on line states unhappy $10.00 due. For what? sent me an bill for an extra $5.00 off of their $10.00 unhappy late fee they said I did not owe so next bill will have an extra $5.00. Can't understand their billing they lied about the no late fee also looked on line at bank account shows payment taken out looked at WM. shows no payment by bank only my checks sent. Thinking about another service when they pass my trash up a few times they never give me and discount had to wait 2 to 3 days before they came. All I can say is greed in and sneaky way now I have to call again to straighten them out once more, if everything is still screwed up I'M looking elsewhere

Bad customer service, unreasonable charges, doubled the price in two years while a contract was signed. BEWARE, they will rip you off every way they can, if you don't check your bill closely, you will have many different charges popping up in every couple of months. What they promise you on the phone will not be honored, as by their sales rep. would tell you it's your word against theirs, so have everything in writing if you want to deal with them.

We paid late in December so when we got our bill for Jan-March we paid the fee and for service in Jan-March in full. The payment cleared our bank in January. Yesterday I received an email that we owe another $30 resume service fee for January. I got online and reviewed my WM account. OH MY! They had UNAPPLIED our payment in January and had down that we only paid $2.19 then charged an additional $30 fee and had the rest of our payment as being applied after 3/01/13! It is February!! How in the world does a payment received in January get applied in March when we aren't even through the month of February?! Underhanded and extremely dishonest. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB. I took a screen shot of the payment screen showing that they unapplied my payment because I couldn't believe it.

I have tried repeatedly this past week to have our trash picked up in Redfield on Becky Lane; having made 8 phone calls. Our pickup day is Monday, it is now Saturday and trash is still sitting there. It seems all they do is put it in the computer there is no follow up and obviously no phone calling. There are five families on this road that did not get their trash picked up. Why do they even have a call in center when the people they are sending messages to via computer totally ignore the request. We are billed through the Redfield water company so we have to now pay for a service we did not get or risk having our water turned off for non-payment

WE have had Waste Management now for 6 months. They fail to pick up the recyclables 50% of the time and have to be called each time. They do not empty the containers fully, leaving week old garbage in the bottom of the containers. They failed to pick last Tuesday, their regularly scheduled day and today is Friday. They have been called every day and promised to remedy the situation. No remedy yet.

If you want your trash picked up at 0530 in the morning, then this is the company for you. They go through your trash before they pick it up. They pick up at local businesses that don't open their gates until 0600, but they are they are 0515 to 0530 just letting the truck idle (wasting lots of gas that increases the amount of fees that you pay) and then they are so noisy and not neighborhood friendly. It sound like they are literally throwing the trash bins back down on the pavement and the back up beeper is ungodly loud. I get that they are garbage pick up and we can't do without them and do appreciate what they do. I just wish they could be goot neighbors and not bulls in a china shop.
