They started a day before expected and even with various issues like inclement weather, equipment breaking, and someone not following instructions, they were done almost on time (1 day late due to heavy rain) and did everything promised and then some. They cleaned up after themselves as well leaving no major ruts for us to take care of like I’ve heard other companies do. They even power raked the entire area making it ready for the hydro-seeder without leaving any extra prep-work for us. They are friendly and personable and were more than willing to take on a couple of little extra’s.
If you live within their work area, call them. You will not be disappointed!

We used Arnsman Excavating for construction on our new home. Unfortunately, we are still pulling nails, screws, metal rods, and other miscellaneous metal objects out of our driveway 5 months later. We were told that the total bill for the job would be about 30k, and after not hearing from Jack for months, we got a bill for a little over 80k, and the job was not done yet. We almost ended up in court over this, but were able to settle. About 4 months after settling, Jack told us that he no longer was going to stand by the agreement we established. We had Oetman and Cherry Valley come to fix the driveway and final grade, and the level of professionalism from these two companies was far superior to Arnsman. For anybody considering Arnsman for their building project, we would strongly recommend not doing so.
