Scheduled an appointment at 8:00 am this morning and they agreed. I called last night to confirm and they stated they would be here at 8, no problem. It's now 3:30 in the afternoon and they still haven't shown up, nor have they answered there phone.

I would highly recommend this company. The rates are reasonable. The movers was very professional, friendly and handled my belongings with care. My move from Portage to Merrillville was completed quicker than I expected and everything was perfect :))

This company is great the young gentleman that moved me was careful with all my items. Used previous movers before and was worried on past experience. I will definitely use them again and refer prices were great and they showed up early ready to work great job guys !!!!!

I just want to say I was really hesitant to hiring this company because of previous reviews. I am so glad I hired them they were wonderful. They were on time and ready to work. They took care of my furniture and treated as if it were there own. This company was the best so far I have hired I work in real estate and I will for sure recommend this company very professional. Awful unprofessional company. Rude snotty lady over the phone that schedules the movers. Movers show up with no blankets or straps for furniture whatsoever. They ended up damaging doorways, walls and ceiling upon move. Scratched up leather couches. And in the end charged me double what they quoted over the phone. This place is a complete hot mess of a business. Avoid at all costs. Everyone there is rude and disrespectful even the owner Richard; doesn't have a clue when it comes to customer service

I used this company to move in to my new home and was extremely disappointed with my experience. First, and foremost, I should have cancelled the service from the beginning considering the woman that called me from Cheap Dependable Movers was extremely discourteous and rude. I own a small business as well in the area, and therefore ignored her demeanor over the phone thinking she probably just had a hectic day. She told me a certain amount of money on the phone and said their company only accepts cash; therefore, I had only the amount of money they said I would need for the move. After the move took place, the man handed my boyfriend a receipt for almost double what I was told I would be paying. My boyfriend was absolutely blown away by how much more it cost than what we were told; however, being an understanding individual he went and got the remainder of money for the movers. After the movers left, my boyfriend went through the home with the painters whom were in there at the same time doing touch-ups and they noticed multiple damages to my home such as huge welts in the walls and holes in the ceiling that were not there prior to the movers bringing things in. The painters were unbelievably upset seeing the work they just spent a week on that I had personally paid them almost $3,500 was dinged and dented. I contacted the owners of the business and my boyfriend also contacted them about the issue and they refused to reimburse any money or do anything about the issue. This is the most discourteous and shady company I have ever had an experience with. I cannot believe any business would treat their customers like this. Being a business owner myself, I understand the importance of customer service, and this type of behavior by "Cheap Dependable Movers" was absolutely inappropriate. I feel like I was taken advantage of, and now I have to spend even more money on my painters to fix all these damages. What a sad, dishonest company this is!

Picked this company off yellow pages and prayed for the best. Moses & Eli were very professional and courteous. They moved everything to two destinations and placed my furniture exactly where we wanted it. Unfortunately I had to pay a cancellation fee for moving my move date but I quickly forgot about it once their professional showed. Great moving experience!

A bit of false advertising! I hired them for a move on 05/09/2015. The men who moved my furniture were nice, respectful, and even early to the appointed time. No issues until I went to put my bed together! The headboard had a corner chunk chipped off and there were scratches and dents along the top of it. Also, a piece that connects the posts had come off and unable to screw in original holes. The side rail has a 3-4 inch scratch on it also. When I called the owner to discuss the situation he was rude and disrespectful to me. He even accused me of damaging my own furniture! He said he would talk to the guys who moved me and would get back to me. Guess what???? He never has despite the fact that I have attempted to contact him. I would not recommend this company based on the lack of customer service and they aren't so dependable after all.

On Saturday, March 14, 2015 I had the pleasure to work with some very professional movers. The team of 3 showed up 15 minutes prior to their 8am work shift, which shows great tenacity. They came inside, evaluated the items that needed to be moved and created a game plan. Within 6 hours the 3 men moved me and my family from my 3rd floor apt to my new 5 bedroom home. Nothing was broken, they were polite, respectful, and showed great mannerism. I will recommend this company to friends and colleges when they are looking to move. 5 Stars!

worst delivery service I have ever received. The movers were full of excuses as to why they could not fit my furniture into my home. I've had larger items moved into my house by other companies, (some with complications but they still brought them into my home). They also complained about it being heavy which is absurd! You'd think a delivery company is used to moving large heavy items. I'm a powerlifter. So, I found it to be slightly funny. The price was cheap and I guess I got what I paid for, cheap service. They ended up moving the furniture to our garage for us to move on our own later.

worst moving company I've ever worked with. these guys were full of excuses about the size of my doors and the weight of the furniture. You'd think a moving company would be used to moving heavy items and maneuvering through tight spaces. I have far larger items in my home. I am so disappointed with this service and do not recommend them to anyone. The price was cheap and I guess I got what I paid for, cheap service. I still tipped $15 though they ended up moving the furniture into my garage for my husband and I to move later. I am a powerlifter and not worried about it being "to heavy". What a joke! They should call themselves Cheap Movers because they are far from dependable.

On time. Very fast and thoughtful. Put blankets and shrink wrap on furniture. Put everything where I wanted it. Completely done in 1 hr 45 min!! Highly recommend this company!!
