Awful awful awful! Impolite, greedy and not professional. When my hearing lasted a little longer than expected he tried to demand I give him much more money or he wouldn't show up the day of my appeal even though our contract clearly stated that my one time fee promised his services in my case. He didn't show up to the appeal and I had to do it without him. I would have been better off burning the money I spent hiring him. At least then I wouldn't have to stress out about what I had spent it on.

I would give him 0 stars if possible but 1 is the fewest the website will allow. DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER! I can't possibly stress this enough. He is unprofessional, completely clueless in his own "fields of practice" and seriously only cares about your money. I had to do ALL of the research for my own case and explain things to him multiple times in an attempt make him understand why I wanted him to tell the opposing lawyers certain things or move forward in a specific way. Not only did he have nothing at all to add to my case, but he simply had no idea what was going on or what I was talking about. Then when the case went longer than he expected, he told me that he refused to work me further unless I gave him an additional amount of money. Despite our contract clearly stating that he agreed to represent me through anything necessary as a part my case. He doesn't care about "justice" or "his client winning," as much as his client handing him a check. Working with Attorney LaRiviere would be a complete waste of your time and money and I urge you to go somewhere - ANYWHERE else.

Attorney Lariviere only cares about one thing...getting his fee! He is unable to draft simple legal documents and his communicative skills are subpar. His letterhead is something that a jr. high school student would use on a book report and his demeanor is unprofessional. I did most of the legwork on my case and after he didn't return my phone calls for over a week, I was forced to seek different representation. When I requested a portion of my retainer back, he literally hung up on me. If you still decide to hire Atty Lariviere, meet him first and go with your gut instinct. I wish I had.

Attorney LaRiviere is a formidable lawyer, a clear communicator, and I can tell he cares about his clients. I would recommend him highly to anyone in need of representation in his practice areas - Personal Injury, Wrongful Termination, Employment Law, Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, Probate, etc.



I think his simple slogan "Justice is when my client wins" sums up his approach pretty well.
