Big Joe's State Park Motel was orignally built by a WW2 veteran who was one of the manyh who came into the county in the few years following that war. It has been kept up and remodled. The proprietors are very friendly. Good communication. Refrigerator in the room. Near the Harrisville State Park entrance roadway. Rooms are modest, but clean, and are in the fair price range for Motels in the area. Would stay there again. 3 stars is the highest rating we could give to any smaller motel. We rate this 2 1/2 out of 3.
