I love coming here! I first came here for my Sweet 16 dress and have since gotten several dresses for the weddings of friends and family. They make you feel special here, and really take their time to help you find what you need. My Mom's so impressed with them that she'll be getting her mother-of-the-bride dress from here for my own wedding soon.

I have been shopping at Sugarplum for many years. I love their new store in Garden City. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They always have just what I'm looking for. They have the largest selection of gowns in just the right price range than any store on Long Island. They never rush me and are never pushy. Love this store!

I needed to find a mother-of-the-bride dress for my Mom, so we decided to come here. She had a wonderful time trying on several dresses. The staff listened to her needs and gave us a lot of opinions. They spent a lot of time with us. In the end my Mom got a great dress picked out, and for a great price. I hope we'll have the chance to go back. I have sisters looking to get married!

I purchased two gowns from them and was delighted with both of them. The staff is friendly, experienced and not pushy.

I am the mother of the bride and received the most outstanding service at Sugarplum out of all the "other" shops on my list of "to check out". True, there are no labels, aside from Sugarplum and there are no sizes on the tickets, but I was shown THE LARGEST SELECTION of gowns in a "size" that actually zipped, fitted and were in colors I was looking for in an affordable price range. So, after visiting "other" shops, receiving little or no service, or rude service, I realized the value of knowing the designer and the size of their garment held very little value for me because I didn't care for the styles, lack of appropriate selection to physically try on and service I was met with on the list of "mother-of" shops that I had been to. (& believe me, I hit plenty of them!) Oh, and by the way, no other shops allow pictures either, until you make a purchase.GREAT SERVICE, GREAT SELECTION!!!

The worst dress shopping experience ever and I have outfitted myself and 3 daughters for 2 weddings, 3 sweet sixteens and 2 proms. Customer service people are very pushy, rude and obnoxious. My 18 year old daughter went in alone hoping to try on a gown displayed in the window. They ignored her when discovering that she was shopping alone, telling her that they had "nothing in her size." Also, if you shop here, make sure you do not take out a cell phone while inside the shop. They become irate thinking that you are photographing the dresses (which, by the way, have no designer labels or size tags in them). I would not recommend this store to anyone.
