When we adopted our bulldog Lola in February of this year we took her to Ridgewood Animal Hospital to have her checked out and make sure she was getting what she needed to make her happy and healthy. She had numerous issues from skin infections to UTI's, tail infection and so on. With the love and care she has been receiving from Dr. Lane and his staff, she has become such a happy and healthy bully and I am so grateful for all their patience and determination. Lola loves to go see them.

Three years ago a trusted Veterinarian referred us to Ridgewood Animal Hospital/Dr Lane for care for our shelter adopted (and wounded) Labrador Retriever. Dr Lane and his wonderful, professional staff provided outstanding (miracleous) care for our new pet. We drive out of our way (literally) to take our rambunctious Lab to his check-ups at Ridgewood Animal Hospaital each year because the quality of care at this facility is absolutely the best (thorough, professional, high quality, and loving/caring). I can't say enough great things about Dr Lane and his wonderful staff --we ❤️ Ridgewood Animal Hospital!

Dr. Jerry Lane and the whole staff at Ridgewood are just wonderful! My Weimaraner had an inflamed disc in her back and Dr. Lane was kind and patient enough to walk me and my husband through all the x-rays and blood work. He made us feel at ease when we were scared for our pup! He’s very knowledgeable and loves animals. Our dogs love going to Ridgewood Animal Hospital! I would recommend RAH to anyone looking for a hands on clinic that really cares!

Ridgewood animal hospital is top notch! A very professional and caring staff, variety of services and clean and convenient location makes it a great place to provide care for our pets, and a "home away from home" when we need them boarded. The hospital tours that are provided are a great way to seal the deal for anyone deciding on a new animal hospital for their pets!

I have been trusting the care of my 3 pedigree cats (2 Ragdolls and a Siamese) and German Shepherd dog to Dr. Lane and the excellent staff at Ridgewood Animal Hospital since we moved to Forest 3 years ago and have only the highest praise for them. They handle my pets with the same gentleness and respect that I do and it's very easy to see that they love their work and honestly care about animals. I appreciate that Dr. Lane listens first to my description of any new issues and then provides me with his expert opinion on diagnoses and recommended treatment options. He also takes the time to fully answer my questions and discuss alternative treatments. And, I very much appreciate that appointments are scheduled so that time in the waiting room is minimal: it's rare that my cats have had to share the waiting room with dogs or even other cats. Such thoughtfulness really makes a difference!

We have been clients of RAH since the early 1980's We find the staff professional and friendly. Recently our cat had an issue.....Dr. Layne explained our options, then was supportive of the decision we made. The staff at the front desk are always friendly and greet us with a smile. The vet techs are gentle with our cats, one of them actually came to our home twice a day while we were out of town to feed our cats and check on our sickie....she left a daily diary as well as texted us. It was nice having someone with training taking care of our "babies". I would recommend this practice to everyone in need of a vet service
