Craig C. Weaver, Attorney at LawJ.D., University of Idaho, 2009, B.S. Business, magna cum laude, University of Idaho, 2004Mr. Weaver is the owner of Sierra Foothills Law. A graduate of the University of Idaho, Mr. Weaver received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree in 2009. Mr. Weaver also received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business with an emphasis in Marketing and a minor in Public Relations from the same institution. Mr. Weaver graduated magna cum laude near the top of his class and served as the president and executive director of various organizations while pursuing his undergraduate degree. In addition, in 2004, Mr. Weaver was named the Outstanding Business Student of the Year by the prestigious Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, the business equivalent to Phi Beta Kappa for liberal arts and science graduates, and is a recipient of the University of Idaho Alumni Award for Excellence.Prior to entering law school, Mr. Weaver served as the director of marketing for an international travel company based out of El Dorado Hills, California, and also gained international experience working as a program director in the Bahamas, Mexico, and Canada for WorldPass Travel Group, LLC & International Student Tours, Inc.During law school, Mr. Weaver gained substantial experience as a legal intern at Paine Hamblen, LLP, based out of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and Beck & Poorman, LLC, based out of Hayden, Idaho, both highly respected firms in the North Idaho and Eastern Washington. As a third year law student, Mr. Weaver gained notoriety by successfully arguing a case before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco while serving as a member of the University of Idaho Legal Aid Clinic.Upon completion of his law degree, Mr. Weaver returned to Northern California and founded American Dream Management, LLC, a California limited liability company providing management services to common-interest develop community associations. Soon thereafter in 2009, Mr. Weaver also founded his first law practice CC Weaver & Associates which laid the foundation for Sierra Foothills Law.As a trial lawyer, Mr. Weaver has established a successful track-record, including helping to facilitate favorable settlements for his clients. Mr. Weaver has successfully argued cases and motions before the Superior Courts of Sacramento, El Dorado, and Placer counties and in the Eastern District of California. Mr. Weaver takes pride in his attention to detail and in fashioning the best result for each of his clients while always being mindful of each client’s individual needs.In his time away from the office, Mr. Weaver enjoys mountain biking and spending time with his family. He is also an avid alpine skier and competitive triathlete and endurance runner.

At Sierra Foothills Law, we are dedicated to serving the needs of our clients in a cost-effective manner without compromising the quality of the legal work our clients receive. The practice was founded in 2012 by attorney Craig C. Weaver with the mission of providing professional, cost-effective legal services to families and businesses in the Sierra Foothills and Sacramento areas.As a family-focused practice, we assist clients with dissolutions of marriage and legal separations, child custody issues, child and spousal support orders, and the division of property following a divorce, including the division of retirement benefits and pensions accrued during marriage. In addition, we help families with estate planning and asset protection plans, the preparation and drafting of wills and trusts, drafting living wills and advanced health care directives, and designating financial and/or health care powers of attorney. For our small business clients we can draft and review contracts, incorporate businesses and form limited liability companies, and draft articles of incorporation and LLC operating agreements. Mr. Weaver and his staff can also provide advice and assistance to landlords and tenants including drafting and reviewing rental agreements, drafting and serving notices on tenants to vacate property, and defending against wrongful eviction actions.
