Despite the small size of the zoo the kids enjoyed their visit. They were happy to find all the animals out and about in their habitats.

Love this place! The keepers love their job and genuinely care about health and well being of the animals! Large variety of animals that you do not often see in zoos! Fun for all ages!

This is a great place to take your family. It's a small location but it's still great for the whole family. They have a little train the kids can ride.

Love the Folsom Zoo. It's small and quaint. The animals are different than regular zoos. Like the stories behind how they arrived there.

Great zoo/animal sanctuary. It's pretty small, but inexpensive & it's still enjoyable. We love that there are peacocks roaming the zoo!

This a great zoo to visit. They are expanding so they can accomidate more animals. This is a very educational zoo!

Have been there on several occasions including for a party on site. I enjoy that it is small and not crowded. For a smaller zoo/ sanctuary it has a variety of animals including bears and even some farm animals. The staff are friendly and having a party there was enjoyed by all the children. Especially since afterwards they can go to the park outside neighboring the zoo and there is a small train you can pay to ride also. Great choice for a day out with the kids.

Such a fun zoo. We loved the peacocks roaming around. It's definitely not as big as the Sacramento zoo, but it's cheaper and fun for a shorter visit or kids with shorter attention spans. Fun playground just outside the zoo.

Such a sweet animal sanctuary. It's small and easy to manage for a quick trip to the "zoo". It's not depressing, like the Sac zoo. I had to chuckle at the exhibit of "feral cats".

Although this is much smaller than the Sacramento Zoo, it is still a great place to take your kids. In some ways, I think it is better for small children who may get over-tired at a larger zoo.

Great for little kids. Very hilly. There is a little train you can ride which is fun. A good day out
