So when I had my previous car I had the oil changed a couple times at Kim's. Not only did he never have a set price on his services, he had a terrible attitude and service. Last time I went I wanted to see about getting my brakes serviced, and he wouldn't even come out to talk with me. All he did was stare at me, and the customer he was helping felt the awkwardness and came out to talk to me instead. I have never gone back since that moment.



Yesterday, my uncle went to Kim's through a recommendation to get his oil changed. He called and asked what the price of an oil change was. Kim told him it was $30. So my uncle went and after Kim had drained all of his oil, he told my uncle that the oil change was going to cost him $100. My uncle has a Toyota Sienna. $100 for an oil change is ridiculous, especially when he had quoted $30 over the phone. Since Kim had already dumped all the oil out, my uncle told him he would go buy oil and ask him to put it in, and he also offered to pay for the labor. Kim then yelled at my uncle and told him that he doesn't make much off of oil changes so my uncle should go somewhere else to get it done. Then he poured all of the dirty oil that was mixed up with other oil in the oil pan back into his car. My uncle had to go across the street to Jiffy Lube to get his oil changed right away.



I am just out of words for this place. Not only does the place look like they don't get much business to start with, but Kim doesn't seem to want business. I would warn anyone from going to this place.

Been taking my cars here for over 15 years. Great, reliable service! Owner takes pride in his work and his business. I've recommended KJAC to many of my friends and family, and they all agree. Some friends come down from N. Seattle for his service. Prefer supporting an honest business owner knowing I won't get ripped off.

Consistent, knowledgeable, to-the-point, honest and reasonable. Need I say more?

Nothing like a good honest auto shop; I took my car in thinking my transmission was in need of replacement. Car couldn't go over 20mph. Explained it to Mr. Kim and left thinking at least a couple weeks. Within 3 hours Mr. Kim called and said my car is ready for pick up and all it needed was a trany flush and top off. Invoice $47.00. Any other shop would have charged me the cost of a new trany and I wouldn't know the difference.

The only auto place where a woman can take her care and be sure she's not going to get suckered into something she doesn't need. I have gone here with a car issue and he told me that my car should be under warranty and to get this fixed by the dealership for free. Who does that these days? Great place!

Honest and trustworthy. Two words I don't usually use when talking about a mechanic. Also, best prices I have found around town.Shannon
