This is a wonderful place to bring your child/children. They have helped my family immensely. I highly recommend Child Guidance...It is a warm, and friendly environment. It is quiet and comforting.I often bring a book or magazine to read when we go, because it is relaxing and quiet. I look forward, not only for my child to go and have fun and talk with Jeanne...But I also have time to catch up on my current book... They are very caring individuals and they take priority in your child. They answer any questions you might have, and they keep you(the parent) informed. They develop a friendship with your family and they develop a friendly, safe, comforting relationship with your child. I am very grateful to them for all they have done for my child, and my family. 3 of the counselors in this office have seen my child/and family members and I have only heard wonderful things about them. They take interest in your life, and feelings and I often don't find that. I have never felt like we are just another file, or patient..etc. We are a family who they have gotten to know well. They have a calm approach with your child. They become friends with your child, and get to know your child on a personal basis. They play games with with them sometimes, and hang out with each other...all the while helping, and working with them.It is a stress free, neutral environment for kids...for anyone who goes there really. I am very happy we have them....One thing to remember though...Make sure your kids pick up and put all the toys away before you leave.....And don't let your little ones take apart the wooden train tracks on the table... I must owe them a new train set by now...or a bottle of Gorilla Glue.....I think I will go buy a new train set...:)
