I would give five stars to the book store itself yet the Cafe inside the place has an element/employee that has a very bad and I dare say even a discriminatory attitude against certain sorts of Mexican sub-ethnicities, given that he is obviously of Mexican descent himself. I have been served by this guy more than five times and consistently I get the same rushy and disagreeable attitude. Today he shouted to me the same question twice. This seems to be the trend of in respects to his demeanor and bad customer service towards me. I stuck around and observed that he gave service to a white non-Hispanic man with a friendly and professional attitude; entirely different to the way I was treated. That action is what prompted me to writing this review. Usually when I get the other baristas to take my order in the most agreeable and professional fashion. I did not get his name given that I wanted no trouble but he is a Hispanic, overweight man going on about 5.6 or 5.5 in height; I also believe he is the manager at that specific store. I will not stop coming to this place because of this unprofessional element; however, if this trend continues against me, a long time customer, I will get his name and submit a concern to the local BBB.

Always something to offer here. It get crowded at times, but their selection can't be beat. Their bargain books section always has good deals on great books. Staff is agreeable most of the time.
