Emmerson Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary medical facility, located in Dorchester, MA and easy access from the surrounding areas of Boston, Quincy, Braintree, and Milton. Our professional and courteous staff seeks to provide the best possible veterinary care for all of our patients. Were committed to promoting responsible pet ownership, performing preventative health care and educating owners about pet health related issues. We aim for excellence in all of our veterinary care services, and we treat you and your pet like members of our own families. Our veterinarians are ready to provide your pet with sound veterinary medical care thats in line with current standards of practice. We offer routine wellness exams and vaccines to help prevent your pet from contracting a contagious or preventable illness. At our facility, we also offer boarding, advanced diagnostics and complex surgical procedures. Our staff cares for cats and dogs. Your pet will receive excellent care at our hospital. Our veterinarian can also make recommendations about pet food and provide you with the medicine that your pet needs.

Not sure that this animal hospital could ever get accurate negative reviews as they have the most caring vets and vet techs. I would never take my dog anywhere else.
I never leave reviews but I have to for this place. On January 29,2018. I made a appointment for the doctor to check my teacup Chihuahua teeth. But when I arrived they check her and even told me she need a x-ray. That was my baby so I will do anything for her. So I got the x-ray. Then they told me she have heart problems. Let me remind you I had her for 7years,7month,29days and she never had a problem. Her appointment was at 11am, I got home bye 12noon and call them and told them she acting different they told me to call them back bye 4pm to see if she change. I actually pull up to the location with my dog bye 4pm and she was DIED. My dog never had a problem I bought her here and they killed my baby. The sad part about it all is I paid them $240 at 11:30am and she died at 4pm. You wouldn't believe they still charge me $160 to Cremate her. So this vet beat me for $400cash and kill my 3.9pound teacup Chihuahua all in 1day. So for that I leave them a 1star also if they offer you any free drugs for your dog DON'T TAKE IT. I did gave my lil girl a piece and she died. THEY KILL MY DAUGHTER AND THEY WILL GET WHAT'S COMING THERE WAY.....
I have moved to Cambridge and continue to bring my cats to Emmerson for routine care. This good of a vet hospital is hard to find.

The vets and staff are impeccable. They have amazing knowledge, patience, and care for everyone who walks through the door, regardless of how many legs they walk in on. They are candid and kind. I highly recommend, and have been a customer for over six years now.
