Stay Away From this place, especially if you are pregnant!!!!



Today, I went to the laundromat to clean my clothes. After finishing the wash cycle, I went to put my clothes into the dryer and then proceeded to the door. As I was leaving, one of the owners told me that the place closed at 7:00, which I responded by saying ok. Even though I had more than an hour before the place closed, the lady had to add to make sure that I was back in time. I had set my clothes to dry for forty minutes and made sure that I was back in 37 minutes. When I was in the process of taking my clothes out and taking them to the folding table, the woman then told me that I only had five minutes left when I had more than ten. I then said something to that affect and she was rude to me so I got rude back. After this her husband then started screaming at me and my husband and tried grabbing my clothes away from me. As he did this he shoved the cart into my leg and hurt me. Mind you, I am currently nine months pregnant and this is very apparent but this excuse for a decent person did not care. His wife had to tell him to stop and then she called the cops so me and my husband waited outside for the cops to arrive to make a statement. Apparently, Derby cops are not much better since they did not take a statement and just said it was an accident. It was not an accident and considering that I had the injury to prove it this should not have happened. However, it seems that the cops are buddies with these people. I recommend that no one go to this place, since as the guy was screaming to me he had a bad day so he will take it out on you regardless of whether you are pregnant or not. I have never experienced such absurd behavior from a business in my life, but according to them it is their business so they can treat you like crap if they feel like it.
