Location is the best part

Pricey for the quality, servers were friendly yet service was slow, food quality was all over the board. Timing of the meal, long wait for appetizer then the main course comes before you have a chance to enjoy the tasty beginnings. Clams were very good-done perfect, Crab balls were worth going back for. Bone Suckin Ribs were just ok...Where Pigs fly are much better, would have preffered regular fries from the sweet potatoe, Shrimp Po-boy was suprisingly good, home made chips were good yet Dew-Claw in Md has far better (including the dips). The very best thing going for them is the location, beautiful view. We would go back for appetizers on the deck.

The BEST restaruant in Delaware State. Service is EXCELLENT. Staff is friendly. Food is EXCELLENT. Also great desserts. Not many places you can have lunch or dinner and sit out on a deck looking at the Delaware River and see the ships (and tugboats) going up and down the river or go for a Ferry ride to Pea Patch Island and learn some history. It is a wonderful little town with great people living and working there. They make you feel at home in every possible way. The restaurant is 5+ Star rating in my book and go there as often as possible, which has been (on occasion) 2-3 times a week, and maybe more. They can do parties or celebrations and they help out for fund raisers for non-profit organizations. Every year they have Delaware City Day in July and Canal Fest in September. They have a town craft and yard sale that is AWESOME and fun. So stop by many times, you will be happy you did. Even bikers love it there. Hope you get to experience this WONDERFUL place real soon. C U there.

Yummy crab bruschetta and creamy crab soup. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this place was.

What were we thinking?!?!?

After one bad experience, we decided to go back and give Crabby Dick's one more shot. We should have stayed at home! The service was awful, I had to wait until after my meal was finished until I got my drink that I ordered before ordering my dinner. This was because there was only one bartender on staff. When I asked for a plate for my Steamer Bucket, the waiter disappeared and did not reappear for 20 minutes - without my plate. We had to ask several more times for a plate, and by the time it got there, my food was cold. Which was probably for the better, because flies had been walking all over it for 45 minutes anyway. My meal was edible, but nothing to write home about, same with the other meals that we ordered, as well as the appetizers. We were very disappointed because we went there wanted steamed crabs, and they do not serve them. C'Mon, what kind of crab house does not have crabs? All in all, very bad experience. Poor service, mediocre food, and overpriced to boot.
