came here after work on a Wednesday night. good prices, nice cocktails, service was awesome!

Went in on Saturday night, before a concert at the arena. Obviously very busy but we were willing to wait. We had no idea how long of a wait we were in for. We were a party of 6, and waiting approximately an hour and a half for a table (we were quoted 1 hour). We spent that time running up a pricey bar tab in the lobby with terribly slow service from the horribly understaffed bar. We finally got to a table and ordered another round of drinks. It was then that our server informed us that the kitchen was running incredibly behind and that any food other than soup/salad would take more than an hour. Unbelievable!! Their menu is incredibly simple, mostly fried food and sandwiches, there is no conceivable possible way that it should possibly take that long for food. Everyone in the restaurant was there to attend the concert, ourselves included, so we did not have an hour or more to wait on food after our long wait to get a table. The door staff should have informed people waiting for tables about the backup in the kitchen so people could decide to move on without waiting to get to a table to hear the news. The manager was wandering around but we were unable to catch him to express our frustration. The restaurant should have known they would be exceptionally busy and been staffed to handle the rush. I understand waiting for the table, but then being told more than an hour for food on top of that? Completely unacceptable! We visit the arena district on a regular basis but we'll never be back here.
