Unfortunately, this shop used deceit to avoid responsibility on something they screwed up. I had a CV axle replaced in early December and they did not tighten the lug nuts on the wheel. When I was doing some brake work yesterday, I noticed that 2 of the 4 lug nuts were gone and the other 2 were not even finger tight. I called the shop to try to figure out what happened and was lied to - the tech said he didn't even take the wheel off to complete the repair. This is ridiculous and most definitely a lie, I know this because it would be difficult in my opinion to replace a CV axle without first removing the wheel. Beyond that, during the repair, he told me that I needed new brake pads - this is quite impossible to determine without removing the wheel. He had to have removed it and did not properly re-install it. To top it off, he lied to me to try to avoid responsibility. Unacceptable. Do not take your car here, it may cost you your car, your life, or worse.
