I was headed to dinner at Korea Garden and happened to see the Tibetan Himalayan Gift Shop around the corner was still open, so I stopped in before dinner. I knew nothing about this place. I walked in and the owner was sitting on the floor playing his flute. I'm SO glad I stopped in. They sell the gamut of hippy, Tibetan accessories- incense, Buddhism books, prayer flags, jewelry, handbags, hats, scarves, prayer beads... nothing unusual if you have ever lived in a college town. But this store is more than that and fantastic. I walked out with a Pashmina shawl, a cute floral print scarf and a Nepal-made fleece-lined knit winter headband 'thingy' with a big knit flower on the side for $20. Yes, $20! They also have a small jewelry selection with great prices. I will be back!!!
