Provided by YP.comMy experience here was stellar compared to anything else in Raleigh. I dealt with Bruce on the phone and then in person. At every other gun shop in the Raleigh area I have had some bad experiences, save for one other; Hills, on Capitol Blvd. , but they were considerably higher in price. Most everywhere I’ve been, sales people are actively recommending what’s in their inventory with margins vs. what I’m looking for. It’s either pry information out of a guy who might know a great deal or deal with some kid with a gun on his hip and no aptitude for retail. I understand that the customer is not always right, but if you’ve been to the Raleigh gun shops I think you might know what I’m talking about. Bruce seems to enjoy what he does and as far as I’m concerned he does it well. When I wanted the Walther PPQ it was kind of new, Bruce did his research, called his distributors, and gave me a completive price with an ETA. If you want to deal with someone who is genuinely interested in helping you make a gun purchase while being treated with respect, Bruce is your man.

Provided by YP.comwent to a couple shops to purchase a new firearm.. i did a ton of online research and called around for the best price.. Bruce at guns n gear had the prices beat by about $40. i went there and he was the nicest dude i met at any of the local stores. he didnt rush me and made sure i understood everything about my $600 investment. very clean and friendly store. the "counter selection" wasnt to wide but he told me he had most guns and could bring any out if i had a question.. springfield xdm with a couple extra clips pluys ammo.. he knew everything about the firearms i narrowed it down to.. either a springfield or glock.
*bottom line: Im beyond satisfied with my firearm and the customer service. I will refuse to buy my next firearm from anywhere else. even if it cost $20 more. id rather help support a local business that goes beyond expectations to help. its at least worth walking and talking to bruce.
