General Info
Karabel Dancewear is well known by costumers and dance studios for stocking required basics and updated styles of dancewear. The staff brings a variety of knowledge from various backgrounds and training in different genres of dance to better assist customers. Dance professionals send their students in with confidence that they will be fitted properly. Group shoe fittings and tour groups can be accommodated at the shop. Karabel supplies over 200 local dance studios, schools and special FX studios in Burbank and neighboring cities. We also supply costumers for artists’ tours, TV, and movies.

If you need dance or gymnastic wear, go here! They have a great selection, knowledgeable, friendly staff, and everything you need. I have a daughter who is a gymnast, and a daughter in show choir. I have been able to get nude bras with clear straps, gymnastic shorts, and dance shoes all for a reasonable price. I am so happy they are in Burbank!

We go here all the time and the service is hit or miss. I love that it is close to us and the selection is great. Some of their employees are not knowledgeable about fitting shoes.

My daughter Geneva has been dancing for almost 10 years and the time came this weekend to fit her for her first set of pointe shoes. I found Lori at Karabel to be very knowledgeable and patient. Geneva tried on numerous different brands and sizes. Lori was clearly very aware of her specific shoe requirements and carefully took the time in getting the correct length and width. (more selection in sizes and makes than any place in the Valley) She knew Geneva's dance teacher and was very interested in her abilities as a dancer. She also made available specific products that made my life much easier to sew the ribbons and elastic for the shoes. definitely recommended for anyone. The staff knows a wealth of information regarding dance schools and programs in and out of the area. Karabels has the BEST shoe fitting expertise. They methodically helped my friend get a pair of pointe shoes that perfectly fit her foot and ability. Many of the items in the store can be worn on a daily basis as well, ie the jazz sneakers!

This is a Burbank favorite because our public high schools are supported by the Burbank Music Association and money from parents for many hundreds of children who are in the performing arts and compete on a regular basis. If you need jazz shoes, tights, or any other professional dancer etc... They have it!
there is so much to choose from. there are two main languages spoken arminian and english i know just a little bit of arminian but i am more of a spanish speaking chick anyways i love to do ballet jazz tap etc., so here at the store they have got all i need
