Established in 1910, Pine Orchard Yacht & Country Club is a private club catering to the social and athletic interests of its members and their families. Located in Branford, Conn., it offers facilities for several recreational activities, including golf, yachting, tennis, sailing and swimming. The club features a nine-hole par-71 golf course, eight Har-Tru and two hard tennis courts, Olympic size swimming pool, kiddie pool; men's, women's, boys' and girls locker rooms, a 75-slip marina and a club house. Additionally, the club offers junior programs in sailing, golf, swimming and tennis. The club offers membership through invitation only and application has to be obtained through a proposing member.
