Bad experience trying to purchase a 7 day mbta pass. Wanted to use credit card, as usual. First, the woman at window said machine does not work and said to take money at atm accross the street (the one inside was out of order). I insisted and asked to try later and the person billed me 17$ straight, printing a pass receipt of 15$ without warning of the extra charge. I asked to cancel transaction and she said she will do on the phone, without leaving me a receipt and I will get refund in one week. Of course I just accepted the pass just paying the 2$ extra. All around are signs aksing to call a certain 800 number to rate the service. Now I understand why... Right out of the shop I heard someone else exiting and calling the same service... However when I tried, the person just put me on hold for 10 minutes. I did not call again. Beware of those people. I am afraid the take advantage of those in difficulty.
