Founded in 1997, the house features over 20 studios and nearly 15 one-bedroom apartments. Anna Bissonnette House serves the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of individuals. It also provides a range of health care services. The house offers several community activities. Anna Bissonnette House includes a lobby and area kitchens. The house is a part of Hearth, which is a nonprofit organization, which additionally operates Ruth Cowin House and Burroughs Street House. The parent organization administers several outreach and advocacy programs.
