In november last year I was diagnosed with a slipped disc in my lower back. My Dr. said either surgery, steroid shot or physical therapy. I chose the therapy. I knew about Ascent but could not get in that week and because of the pain I went elsewhere with no relief for several weeks. My dr. said at least take the shot. I called Ascent again and was able to get in right away.That was in January. I went from wheel chair to walker to cane to no pain within 2 months. I am now on a maintenance program once a week. I do stretches every morning outlined by Shankar and his staff. I'm 82 and still working 3 and 1/2 days a week . I think the staff at Ascent could not have been any more caring and professional in taking care of my symptoms.
