My boyfriend & I ate here in April & we will NEVER go back. We have gone here several times from the time they opened until April, 2015 & we never had a problem. In April, we went into Mak's in Bellingham. I ordered a sub & my boyfriend order his usual which was a roast beef sandwich. It did not look right! A few hrs later, my boyfriend was extremely sick. He was like this for 3 days from food poisoning. Our friends also went there the day after we did with the same outcome as well as 2 other peole we know & they all said that they ordered the Roast Beef! We liked their food prior to this but we will no longer go anywhere near that place now.

While the subs are spectacular, I am upset because the three times I have ordered their subs, specifically told them no cheese, they have put cheese on anyways. I am lactose intolerant and for this to happen more than once to me shows that they do not listen when someone tells them. If someone has a severe allergy and they put an ingredient in a sandwich they could find themselves in a lot of trouble.

Great food, great prices!

I had a roast beef sub from Mak's today, it was delicious!

UPDATE to April 4th review...Since then, I have tried the following: Garden Salad, Spaghetti and meatballs, Chicken Fingers, Fries, Onion rings. All are ABSOLUTELY AWESOME !!!!! The roast beef is the best I have ever had...ever!!! These days, when ever household dollar counts, It is well spent at mak's. Awesome food at reasonable prices. You will not be disappointed!!! Since I eat there 3-4 times per week, I know what I am talking about. ENJOY :)

Mak's Roast Beef and Pizza recently opened up here in Bellingham and all I have to say I am GLAD THEY DID because they make the best food ever and they have reasonable prices. The Staff is very friendly, the delivery is very quick and the Place itself is very very clean and nice. If you happened to live close by or driving by I would HIGHLY recommend it to every one to make a stop at Mak's I guarantee you will Love their food.

Very clean, very friendly and the roast beef is some of the best I have ever had. Tried the pizza and it's awesome, too! I would definitely advise you to pay them a visit.

FANTASTIC Roast Beef sandwiches at reasonable prices. Mak's started operations 3/25/13. I have only had the Roast Beef but looking forward to trying other items this weekend. Prompt service, friendly staff, ultra clean shop. I have found nothing that displeases me. More to come as I expand my choices. MUST TRY...you won't be disappointed !!!!!
