We passed through Bakersfield on Saturday, 12-24-2011. About 10 miles outside of town, our battery light came on and the car died shortly after. After calling multiple repair shops, Tony was the only one still working, or at least the only one who agreed to help. He was working on his brother in-laws brakes, and was actually closed.

Based on the description of our problem, he ordered a battery and alternator from the parts store. They dropped them off and were leaving just as we arrived in the tow truck. We were traveling from Oregon to see family in Palmdale. If he had not fixed our car, we would have spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day in a hotel in Bakersfield. He charged a normal fair price, and got us back on the road quickly. He even gave our 3 children a gift of chocolate covered cherries.

I was reminded of this event because we are selling our Suburban. I found the receipt when I was cleaning out the glove box. I appreciate his honesty, integrity, and Christian good will.

Finding these guys saved me a ton of money!! Go see Tony first!
