Established in 1988, Ronald E. McNair Middle School is a coeducational school providing education to students in grades six to eight. The school offers various educational and enrichment programs in various disciplines, including reading, math, and technology. It also offers after school program, and math tutorial programs. Its media center houses an Internet lab and teaches students to develop research skills using the World Wide Web. It additionally offers various extracurricular activities and clubs, such as the Young Men of McNair Club, and chess, robotics, yearbook and newspaper clubs. The school also offers courses in social studies and language arts, music and physical education. Ronald E. McNair Middle School is located in Atlanta.
