Established in 1894, Washington Golf and Country Club is a recreational facility that features an 18-hole golf course, pool, and fine and casual dining rooms. It is a privately held business that offers various membership plans to the residents of the Washington, D.C. area. The club s amenities include a driving range, tennis courts, and putting and practice green areas. It also maintains a clubhouse that features a cocktail lounge and meeting and party rooms. The club s ballroom can accommodate gatherings of more than 350 people. It hosts a variety of social events, such as dinners, receptions and weddings. Washington Golf and Country Club offers training programs in tennis and golf and is spread over an area of more than 120 acres.
