- Swedish MassageAlyssa is a graduate of the Cortiva Institute in Watertown MA. She has Studied in many modalities ranging from Swedish Massage to Myofascial Technique to Sports and Neuromuscular Therapy. She believes that integrating several different techniques into a massage session can be most effective in reaching a clients therapeutic goals. She comes from an intense dance background, having constructed a healthy and disciplined lifestyle which she now brings to her massage work in the form of good structure and flow. Alyssa looks at every client as an individual and enjoys working together with them to achieve their therapeutic goals.
- Deep Tissue MassageThis style includes deep kneading of both the superficial and core muscles, combined with long lighter gliding strokes to help integrate the deeper work to fully rejuvenate the body.
- Sports MassageKim graduated from Lancaster School of Massage in Pennsylvania in 2002. Her education was thorough and varied, including Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy, connective tissue therapy, prenatal massage and sports massage. After school Kim began her career as a massage therapist in PA, and has continued in Boston at Body Mechanics since 2003.

- Chair MassageCraig started Body Mechanics Massage in 1995 as a Chair massage booth at the famous Bull Market of Faneuil Hall Marketplace. From there he opened a small office in Brookline. After operating for seven years, he moved to an expanded facility in Allston in 2002. This new facility with additional space, includes showers and more Therapists allowing Body Mechanics to thrive.
- Neuromuscular TherapyThis technique locates trigger points (knots or adhesions) in the muscles or connective tissue. Steady, static pressure is applied to the point until it lets go. The area is then stretched to elongate the muscle back to its intended length.
- Myofascial TherapyWe will combine a variety of techniques, including Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release and Cross Fiber Friction, depending on what is going on in your body.
